Open Call
For Artists
Ariana Grande performs as a digital game character, ABBA presents a hologram show, and Reinier Zonneveld spins back-to-back with his own AI. Are you a Dutch artist interested in experimenting with new technology? Curious about the possibilities of AI, live visuals, holograms, or mobile AR experiences for your live show? Then apply now for the Open Culture Tech Residency!
In this residency, we invite 3 artists to collaborate with us in developing a new creative concept using the latest technology from our toolkit. You can specifically choose to work with our AI tools, AR tools, or Avatar tools
A work fee of €2,000 (incl. VAT) is provided.

How to apply
You can submit a pitch including:
-
A short introduction about yourself (text or video)
-
An example of your musical portfolio (audio or video)
-
A proposal for working with one of the specific tools from our toolkit. Clearly explain why and how you want to use the tool. You can base your proposal on:
-
Curiosity about technology: “I want to explore the creative potential of generative AI music for my setlist.”
-
A problem statement: “My current show isn’t expressive enough—how can I translate it into a more immersive experience?”
-
A ‘what if’ question: “What if my audience could influence my live show?”
-
Send your idea by January 30, 2025, to openculturetech@beeldengeluid.nl with the subject line:
